Follow your Instinct… or your DNA-Memory!
Lucy always had the fear of the sea, she couldn’t resist, even a luxury trip on one of those great and giant ships couldn’t convince her to regard it with anything but anxiety. she didn’t have any related-accident or… what? I don’t know! but it was always there, in her, this I know.

“What if I told you the human body not only housed an individual’s memories, but the memories of his ancestors as well? Genetic memory, if you will. Migration, hibernation, reproduction. How do animals know when and where to go? What to do?”
―Warren Vidic

DNAs like all molecules, already obeys the laws of quantum chemistry, including quantum superpositions, collapses, and tunneling. The consequences of these laws are more commonly known as quantum chemistry, which explains all of the familiar chemical laws. On the other hand, quantum chemistry proves that memory stores in each part of the system individually, which means that if a part of the system is damaged it still can perform complicated tasks assigned to it.
late 60s some psychological researchers suggested that we can remember our ancestor’s lives by ways that unlock our DNA memory.
The theory of DNA/genetic memory is controversial. There are examples of what seem to be genetic memory happening in reality in the animal kingdom. Such examples include birds knowing where to migrate in the winter, and other forms of what might otherwise be known as “animal instinct”. However, the mechanism for the preservation of memories in DNA has not been found.
There are still many flaws and holes in this theory, such as if the memory continues after the ancestor’s child is born, or if it abruptly stops there and does not progress any farther down the family tree.

Now, maybe it was Lucy’s grandfather who happened to be really afraid of sharks because he had been attacked by them one of those old days…

COMING SOON!

Unfathomable!

A cat is in the box…

There is a radioactive source,a flask containing a poison,a radioactive sensor and a hammer. they are placed in the same box along with the cat. If the sensor detects radiation, the flask is shattered by the hammer, releasing the poison that kills the cat, if it does not detect any radioactive radiation the hammer will not hit the flask so there wouldn’t be any poison released in the box, the cat will live.
As it’s cleared, radiation from the radioactive materials is totally unpredictable, let’s say the probability of atom(s) being radiated from the source is 50% (does not matter, it can be 90% or 10% depending on many factors). now:
if the cat is being placed in the box from 12:00 pm to 12:05 pm , can we determine the cat is alive or dead? no we can not! unless we break open the box and observe it, in only a moment of observation our doubt becomes certainty. but wait, before opening the box, the cat is both dead and alive! acording to Uncertanty priciple by Heisenberg,it’s the matter of observation that foces the cat to be alive or dead and not both at the same time, before observation the cat is 50% alive and 50% dead(or 90% alive and 10% dead) This is the Copenhagen interpretationfor the incidents that have multiple outcomes. the experiment is a thought experiment, Schrödinger’s cat, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger

In a more interesting interpretation, the Many-Worlds interpretation states that :

Schrödinger's cat* in Many-worlds interpretation by Hugh Everett**

even after opening the box and observing, the cat is both alive and dead but not at the same universes.
right at the time of the observation the universe splits into two(in Copenhagen interpretation the act of obervation forces the result of the experiment to be only one) ,in one universe the cat is dead and in the other one it’s alive, but we never see both outcomes because two universes are two totally different universes and decoherence. so the difference with the Copenhagen interpretation is that right after openning the box the cat is not dead or alive ,rather it’s dead and alive but in different universes!

many-worlds interpretation clearly states that there are other universes apart from the one we are living in now, apart from the one that you are reading this blog in. i am sure all of us been through several accidents. when i was a kid, my family and i had a car accident , but we survived, who knows maybe we are already dead in another universe and we simply don’t know it!

The Butterfly effect: change one thing, change everything!

2 01 2011

It’s been said,in Chaos theory, that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly’s wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world!

as Nikola Tesla noted:
“A single ray of light from a distant star falling upon the eye of a tyrant in bygone times may have altered the course of his life, may have changed the destiny of nations, may have transformed the surface of the globe, so intricate, so inconceivably complex are the processes in Nature”

Read this story or if you are lazy watch the video.
Sometimes we’re on a collision course and we just don’t know it.Whether it’s by accident or by design,
there’s not a thing we can do about it.

A woman in Paris was on her way to go shopping. But she had forgotten her coat, went back to get it.
When she had gotten her coat, the phone had rung.So she had stopped to answer it and talked for a couple of minutes. While the woman was on the phone,Daisy was rehearsing for a performance at the Paris Opera House. And while she was rehearsing, the woman, off the phone now,had gone outside to get a taxi.

Now, a taxi driver had dropped off a fare earlier, and had stopped to get a cup of coffee. And all the while, Daisy was rehearsing. And this cab driver, who dropped off the earlier fare and had stopped to get the cup of coffee,he picked up the lady who was going shopping and had missed getting the earlier cab.The taxi had to stop for a man crossing the street, who had left for work five minutes later than he normally did because he forgot to set his alarm. While that man, late for work, was crossing the street,Daisy had finished rehearsing and was taking a shower. And while Daisy was showering, the taxi was waiting outside a boutique for the woman to pick up a package which hadn’t been wrapped yet, because the girl who was supposed to wrap it had broken up with her boyfriend the night before and forgot. When the package was wrapped, the woman, who was back in the cab,was blocked by a delivery truck.
All the while,Daisy was getting dressed. The delivery truck pulled away, and the taxi was able to move while Daisy, the last to be dressed, waited for one of her friend who had broken a shoelace. While the taxi was stopped, waiting for a traffic light,Daisy and her friend came out the back of the theater.

And if only one thing had happened differently, if that shoelace hadn’t broken or that delivery truck had moved moments earlier or that package had been wrapped and ready because the girl hadn’t broken up with her boyfriend, or that man had set his alarm and got up five minutes earlier or that taxi driver hadn’t stopped for a cup of coffee or that woman had remembered her coat and got into an earlier cab,Daisy and her friend would have crossed the street and the taxi would have driven by.But, life being what it is,a series of intersecting lives and incidents out of anyone’s control, that taxi did not go by,and that driver was momentarily distracted and hit Daisy, and her leg was crushed.

Seduced by Science!

Apparently salvation is the goal…
and Transhumanism is the tool!
seeing like an eagle does, having a smell sense like a dog has, being too flexible, being healed in blink of an eye, learn things that take a normal human being years in just few seconds, upload and download the content of your mind.
Being Immortal!
Transhumansim(TransHuman short for Transitory Human) is a movement that believes ,disease, disability, aging, suffering, death etc. are unnecessary human conditions, so that it tries to eliminate them by the use of technology.Biology plays a big role in this movement as well as Nanotechnology ,Philosophy etc.
It’s cited as one of the dangerous ideas ever.
There is something inside me that tells me the way human being continues the incredible way of pioneering science and technology is not the way so that it could solve all problems in the universe or inside us.the goal of this way would not be the goal we think it is now,i believe.
This idea,Transhumanism, is one of those that seems fascinating but i suppose the long term consequences would be catastrophic. a human transited to a Transhuman could be used as anything ,a person who is capable of doing extraordinary jobs among who is not, now if the person is told to be a bad guy, well that’s what makes this idea one of the most dangerous ideas, but after all, reducing or in an ideal form eliminating the bad human conditions like disease and suffering is the point that makes people seduced to continue for more.

ANOTHER NOVEMBER ENDED!

30 11 2010

This is no big secret, this is a game you can’t win!

22 10 2010

Prediction of earthquakes ,huh? forget it, what if they can cause earthquakes? what if they can control floods, typhoons, thunders, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis? and what if they can control our mind, our mood?
since the time i found out about the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird i started to believe we are really being controlled, recent years in my life i saw stuffs that almost every incident seems funny to me and i can’t really believe they just happened accidentally. yeah they always say everything happens for a reason, but i am sure the reason i believe in today is not the one my grandparents believed in years ago!
funny is these stuffs we people find out about today, are no big secrets anymore so let’s just pretend for a moment that we are in the future and imagine how those stuff could be now!
This is part of a book i am currently reading :

“What if you could direct beams of energy at advancing enemy troops, microwaving their brains like three-minute meals? would that not be the prefect weaon? your enemy dead or too mentally disturbed to figh, yet nothin else damaged, his equpment still usable, his cities, his industry and yours unblimeshed by war? this too has been a dream of weapons designers for decades. that was the reason for developing netruon bombs(which was tested first in the U.S. in 1962). the neutrion bomb realses high levels of deadly radiotion from a comparativly tiny explosion, causing minimal damages to assets and maximal damage to humans.
Could you control people if you could project holographic images into sky, pictures of the God(s) they worship or of the demons they fear most? The Air Force thinks so,as they are activly persuing holographic projectors as weapons system. What could you do with people if you could transmit words or thoughts directly into their minds?Could you not bend them to do your bidding unawares,or drive them insane with voices? Psychologists in the employ of Russia’s KGB have been working on radio remote control of people since the 1930s The CIA has had similar research programs since the 1950s!!!
All of the above are things that researchers say HAARP(or a device like HAARP) could do,if built sufficiently large and directed to that purpose, as crazy and science-fictional as these may sound, for decades respected scientists have said that it was only a matter of time and money to accomplish these things.”
-JERRY E.SMITH,(1998).HAARP: The ultimate weapon of conspiracy

Oh well and this is what they say on the HAARP official website :

“High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Its purpose is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance purposes (such as missile detection). The HAARP program operates a major Arctic facility, known as the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force owned site near Gakona, Alaska.”

P.S. i strongly suggest to those interested people to read the book, which i stated the name above, to learn more about all the capabilities of HAARP.

Odd as always!

9 10 2010

Quantum world is absolutely weird and interesting , i call it extreme. the things we never see in the “real world” of ours we see in the quantum world.i’d say it’s because quantum physics somehow tries to redefine things around us so it would look the way we never experienced it before, thus the weirdness!
there is this concept in quantum hydrodynamics called Superfluidity.
Superfluidity happens when the viscosity of the matter becomes zero, matter here refers to liquids, specifically Helium.
to be more comfortable with the definition , i’d say when Superfluidity takes place , the liquid will creep all over the surface of it’s container non-stop!
just like this :

This happens in a state called lampada point, which is “the temperature (approximately 2.17 K) below which normal fluid helium (helium I) transitions to superfluid helium II. More precisely, there is a lower lambda point at 2.172 K, 0.0497 atm, and an upper one at 1.76 K, 29.8 atm”

you can find more info about this topic here

What is Time?

24 09 2010

Time is a concept we deal with every single moment of our life yet we can’t feel it,we can’t see it,we can’t imagine it ,we can’t do experiment on it,we can’t really describe it in a single-form definition, we only measure it by some funy conventions!

There are several interesting concepts about Time that motivate us to think about it more maybe.
people, not very long ago, didn’t know about relativity and how things are related to and depends on each other.
actually it’s nothing but relativity which describes everything around us.imagine without the concept of “relativity”,proposed by Einstein, that means nothing related to something, there would be no well-defined concept,in other words, there was nothing! because it’s the relations between the entities which define their existence.we can only define things with a frame of reference.without referring it to something else, we can’t define it well.
i tried to gather some academic information about Time and it’s features that i thought it would be interesting for you people to read it too.i am sure there are a lot more to be found on the web , but i hope this would be enough for us to go and look for more.

That’s what my dictionary says:
“the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole”

Wiki says:
“Time has been defined as the continuum in which events occur in succession from the past to the present and on to the future”

There was no time before Big Bang

“Time is represented through change, such as the circular motion of the moon around the earth. The passing of time is indeed closely connected to the concept of space. According to the general theory of relativity, space, or the universe, emerged in the Big Bang some 13.7 billion years ago. Before the Big Bang, there was no space or time.
“In the theory of relativity, the concept of time begins with the Big Bang the same way as parallels of latitude begin at the North Pole. You cannot go further north than the North Pole,” says Kari Enqvist, Professor of Cosmology.”
-Source: University of Helsinki

“Time has no beginning and no end, there is neither a  nor a big crunch singularity.”

“Now, physicists at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have measured this effect at a more down-to-earth scale of 33 centimeters, or about 1 foot, demonstrating, for instance, that you age faster when you stand a couple of steps higher on a staircase.
Described in the Sept. 24 issue of Science,* the difference is much too small for humans to perceive directly—adding up to approximately 90 billionths of a second over a 79-year lifetime—but may provide practical applications in geophysics and other fields.”
-More information: C.W. Chou, D.B. Hume, T. Rosenband and D.J. Wineland. Optical Clocks and Relativity. Science. Sept. 24, 2010.Provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology

well i have to add to the last one that: we age slower as we move faster, and the proof is neither complicated nor hard to understand.
